I/we have added my/our voice to [Allergy UK tag] campaign, raising awareness of why allergies are #toobigtoignore.

The UK has one of the third highest allergy rates globally, yet hay fever is still sniffed at, food allergies are brushed off as a lifestyle choice and allergic eczema is dismissed as just dry skin.

When will the government, NHS and society recognise that allergies are #toobigtoignore?

Did you know that by 2026, 1 in 2 people in Europe will live with at least one allergy? Despite allergies soon affecting us all, they are still dismissed, ignored and misunderstood by NHS, government and society.

We can’t continue to dismiss hay fever as a minor inconvenience, food allergies as a lifestyle choice, or allergic eczema as mere ‘dry skin’. These are serious conditions that impact millions of lives. That’s why we/I stand with Allergy UK [Allergy UK tag] because allergies are #toobigtoignore.

This Allergy Awareness Week (22-28 April), [Allergy UK tag] is shouting louder than ever why allergies are #toobigtoignore.

The UK is top of the global allergy pops for all the wrong reasons!

We rank in the top three globally for the highest incidence of allergies, second for allergic eczema and share the top spot with Sweden for the highest incidence for hay fever. The burden of allergy-related cases places a considerable strain on our already overstretched NHS and no-one can deny we need to change how our healthcare system manages allergies.

That’s why, I/we stand with Allergy UK [Allergy UK tag] because allergies are #toobigtoignore.

It’s #AllergyAwarenessWeek, and allergies are now #toobigtoignore.

The UK is in the global top three for the highest incidence of allergies, 2nd for allergic eczema and joint #1 with Sweden for hay fever. Our healthcare system needs to change to manage the rising allergy tide.
