Understanding Allergies: Sadie Bristow Foundation Event

Allergy UK is joining Sadie Bristow Foundation at their Understanding Allergies event on 24th September in Canterbury. The Sadie Bristow Foundation is on a mission to raise allergy awareness and provide families and those caring for a child with allergies, with support, and guidance through a series of workshops, panel discussions and presentations. 

Simone Miles, Operations Director at Allergy UK, has been invited to speak at the event and share how we can further support parents and patients with allergies through our patient charter andservices. Simone says, ‘As the leading national patient charity for all types of allergies, we are honoured to attend and support this event to help patients and families live with allergies more confidently.’ 

Experts from across the UK will also be attending to bring their wealth of allergy knowledge under one roof for one day. Doctors, Allergy Nurses, Food Allergy Dietitian(s), Psychologists, Asthma and Dermatology Specialists are amongst those delivering talks at the first ever Allergy Information Event in Kent. 

Allergy UK exists to support the millions of people in the UK who live with allergy – to be the voice at the end of the phone and a force for positive change and bring about the unmet needs of people living with allergy.
