Social and Communications Officer
Full time position Salary £29,500 - £30,500
Allergy UK is the leading national charity providing support and information to the estimated 21 million people living with allergic diseases in the UK. We are dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by allergies and providing them with the information and support they need to manage their condition. Our mission is to raise awareness of allergies and the impact they have on people’s lives, while advocating for better understanding and treatment.
As a key member of the Communications Team, you will have the passion, drive and understanding to use the power of social media to raise our profile and to create fresh, engaging content and strong stories to highlight our cause to create a better understanding and awareness of allergic disease across a number of audiences. The role will report to the Communications/PR Manager, working closely with members of our Comms team, and taking the initiative to liaise with our other teams, to gather stories and content that will increase awareness of Allergy UK to drive our influence and highlight our commitment to improving the lives of people living with allergic disease.
